Comarch bets on AI agents and subscriptions — the direction Zevio already took
Comarch, Poland's largest ERP vendor, is adding AI agents and moving to subscriptions. When players this big set the direction, it's worth knowing Zevio is already there: the Analytics AI Agent works today, and more agents are on the way.
Comarch, Poland's largest ERP vendor, announced two things in a single move: it is adding AI agents to software used by more than 100,000 companies, and it is shifting sales to a subscription model. These are not two separate pieces of news — they are one direction. The same direction Zevio has been building toward from day one.
When a player this size bets on subscriptions and AI agents, it stops being a conference curiosity. It becomes what customers will expect by default a year or two from now. So it is worth looking at exactly what Comarch announced — and where Zevio sits in that picture.
What Comarch announced
In early September 2026 Comarch released more than a dozen AI agents built into its ERP systems. Before launch, over 100 companies tested them on 100,000 documents. By the end of September agent runs passed one million, and at the presentation the company already spoke of more than 3 million agent function calls. The plan is simple: add agent features to most ERP products by the end of 2026.
What do these agents do? They classify and post documents, including invoices pulled from KSeF. They check counterparties and flag risky invoices based on transaction history and the VAT white list. They answer natural-language questions about business data in the BI app — and can read the result aloud. They also handle receivables, including voice calls to debtors.
That last part runs on a partnership with ElevenLabs, a voice-AI provider. In the demo a sales invoice was created in conversation: the user names the counterparty, the service and the amount, and the agent saves the document and shows a preview. In a collections scenario the agent calls the customer, states the amount and the overdue period, and explains how to settle the payment.
Edyta Kosowska of Comarch summed up the philosophy in four words: the agent performs, the human decides
. The agent does the work, the decision stays with the human. That is exactly how we see it at Zevio.
The second trend: subscription instead of licence
In parallel, Comarch is moving sales to subscriptions. From 1 February new customers buy software on a subscription — the company calls it "SaaS Valley". The numbers show it: recurring revenue rose from just under 70% to nearly 80% of the total, and cloud revenue is growing almost 30% a year. Comarch also cites an IDC forecast that by 2029 half of global AI spending will go to agentic systems.
In other words: the largest Polish ERP says openly that the future of business software is recurring revenue and AI agents. At Zevio we treat that thesis as a starting point, not a forecast.
Where Zevio fits
Comarch serves the accounting, production and logistics of large and mid-sized firms. Zevio does something different: the recurring revenue of service businesses and publishers — subscriptions, passes, memberships and press subscriptions. Where what matters is not a single invoice but hundreds or thousands of recurring payments a month.
And in that space, AI agents and subscriptions are not a future plan for us. They are a product that works today.
What we already have: the Analytics AI Agent
Every Zevio plan — included, at no extra charge — ships with the Analytics AI Agent: your personal analyst. It prepares reports and analyses across all payments, receivables, payment methods, churn and newly acquired customers. It has visibility into the whole account, so instead of clicking through dashboards you simply ask it what you want to know — and it calculates and answers.
What's coming: more agents
Next in line is the Feedback & AI Surveys Agent — it collects opinions and NPS after key events and analyses sentiment. Behind it come more agents aimed at managing revenue and receivables more smoothly:
- Customer Health dashboard — one view of customer health: churn risk and concrete recommendations before a customer leaves.
- Payment-matching agent — AI matches unusual and bundled transfers to the right balance, so receivables reconcile without manually poring over a bank statement.
We describe every module and agent openly in the pricing — you can see what's included in the plan, what you add as an extra module, and what is marked "Coming soon".
"The agent performs, the human decides" — we agree
Comarch stresses that agents act within the user's permissions and that every action is logged; the human supervises and decides. We think the same way. The Zevio agent calculates, reminds, matches and recommends — but you decide what to do with it. AI should save time, not take over the company.
The takeaway
When the largest Polish ERP announces AI agents and moves to subscriptions, it is the best proof that the direction is settled. The difference is that in the world of recurring payments for service businesses and publishers you don't have to wait for it — Zevio gives you subscriptions and an AI agent today.
