Zevio and BLIK – Recurring Payments for Small and Medium Service Businesses in Poland
Zevio (www.zevio.io), a Kraków-based startup, is among the first companies in Poland to launch a subscription and recurring payment management platform for small and medium service businesses, built on BLIK's recurring payment mechanism.
The global recurring payments market — one of the fastest-growing segments in payments — is projected to grow from $182 billion in 2025 to $285.7 billion in 2030 at a CAGR of 9.4–9.5% (Research and Markets). Automated recurring billing has so far been dominated by media companies, streaming platforms, publishers, and enterprise players.
– We founded Zevio because we saw growing interest in the subscription model among small and medium service businesses, and a clear lack of solutions that would let them implement recurring payments without involving developer resources. Zevio is a ready-made tool that gives them access to technology previously reserved for the biggest players. – says Marek Stopka, CEO and founder of Zevio.
– The recurring payments market is of strategic importance to BLIK. We are delighted that Zevio places our service at the heart of its business – says Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, CEO of BLIK.
BLIK recurring payments are one of the payment methods available on the Zevio platform, alongside standard payment methods offered through payment gateways. Customers also have access to advanced analytics. The system provides tools to support churn reduction, win-back of lost customers, and handling of failed payments. The company is also developing AI-powered agent solutions designed to increase customer loyalty and improve cash flow.
Zevio's solution targets businesses operating in areas such as education (school and extracurricular), e-learning, media, health and fitness services, the non-profit sector (foundations and associations), municipal services, and the B2B market.
One of Zevio's first customers is Tygodnik Powszechny, a leading Polish weekly. In the very first month of the partnership, implementing the platform increased the publication's sales conversion by more than 70%, while significantly reducing involuntary churn — subscriber losses caused by failed payments rather than conscious cancellations. This is one of the most common problems in subscription businesses, and one that Zevio addresses automatically.
Zevio was founded in early 2026 by Marek Stopka and is headquartered in Kraków. The company's investor is Grzegorz Błażewicz, founder and long-time CEO of SALESmanago — one of Europe's largest martech companies.
